First of all, I read all the various reviews, but decided to take a chance on these towels. These are the size I expected. They are a bath towel, not a bath sheet which is larger. They are a very nice deep chocolate brown color. They are a thick towel and soft. They are not an “energy efficient” towel as far as drying. I read they shed a bunch of lint…???? Hmmm, not my experience. Maybe others did not so the proper washing with them. . I took the new towels and washed them on the “heavy duty” setting in the washer with other dark towels. I used a normal level of detergent, warm water, and added white vinegar as that sets colors from running. I also used the “extra rinse” function. My previous energy efficient drying towels I never had any lint. For new towels, I expected A LOT (based on the reviews), but I did NOT. I had a little bit more that I usually do in a normal dryer load of clothes. For new towels I expected much more. I was pleasantly surprised as many reviews said otherwise. I did not use fanfic softener as that will block towels from absorbing. For this price, these are a very nice quality towel. I expect they will last me many many years. I am very pleased with this purchase.
