Fantastic little stove! There’s no complicated assembly and it’s only 3 pieces… only two of which are necessary at any given time. It’s relatively sturdy.Be aware that if you put it together inside out, the baseplate won’t fit because the stove won’t be square. Just make sure the hinges are on the outside all the way around and everything should be alright. I did have to take a dremel to mine to get the bowl to fit correctly, but I understand most people don’t have to do that. The stove works great with twigs, esbit, or a trangia stove. The bowl can act as an ash pan beneath the fire grate, as a container for alcohol or gel fuel, or as a fuel plate for esbit or other solid fuels. You can also flip the bowl upside down to get the esbit tablets closer to your pot. It’s very easy to assemble and is the perfect size for a mug or canteen cup. It’s an excellent addition to a personal survival kit or bugout bag.
