DieselDestruction Genuine OEM 6.0L Diesel CM5348 IPR Valve & SOCKET KIT

BUY THIS. Cannot say better things about this purchase. Factory OEM IPR valve, $100 cheaper than my dealer, AND came with the socket, this socket is nice and slim too. The packaging on this thing… best packaging I’ve seen in a long while. Literally the IPR was triple wrapped in bubble wrapped and then another layer top and bottom of the box. Slapped it in the truck and this thing ran smooth as butter. Have done close to 100 miles with it now and it’s glass.My 04’ 6.0’s issue…. Hope it helps someone else. When I bought this truck it had a surge/hiccup issue. Would happen right at about 1500-1800 rpm, at first it wasn’t anything crazy, just a hiccup every couple seconds while driving. The longer I drove it, the worse it got lol. It would do it in first gear at that 1500, and then would be smooth till you were cruising, then it could just surge about 50-100 rpm every second or so. It got to the point of it sounding like it was surging every second and wouldn’t run smooth while driving at all. I went through and did all the normal maintenance things like fuel filters and cleaned the maf sensor, replaced the map sensor and even did the blue spring kit, still did it. Replaced the ICP sensor and it still did it. The previous owners had installed a aftermarket IPR… turns out it was garbage. Switched it out for this one and she’s good as new now.
