Design Engineering 010235 Ultra 47 Starter Shield for Extreme High Heat, 7″ x 2′

put this heat shield around my starter on my 49′ chev street rod with headers, and it really helped blocking radiant heat coming off those headers…it does NOT absorb the heat !! but really does protect the starter /solinoid ..Very EASY to install with the velcro, I put actually put a couple of “stainless steel” ty wraps around it too for an extra measure GREAT PRODUCT reaonably priced !
