Design Engineering 010230 Ultra Sheath MA 0.5″ x 3′ Lightweight Extreme Heat Protection for Hoses, Fuel Lines & Electrical Wiring

Using this not as intended – The collector for header #1 came within half an inch of the 2″ Radiator return hose. Wrapped the header which reduced the air gap and used a 9″ section of this sheathing to cover the hose (they don’t have this in 2″ unfortunately). The sheathing is great, piping stays cool on the other side. The stitching came out easily once cut, without damaging the sheathing.The sheathing has stayed together well on the car well the last 2 months. Right behind the rad fans, and it hasn’t frayed or separated.
