I still gave it a dusting with a quality cable lubricant, just to keep things moving smoothly. The cable was routed along the passages on my bike with no issues. This is a few inches longer than needed for my application, but careful routing has it working fine.Upon snipping the small end to slip through the destination clamping hole, the cable somehow managed to slide right out of the sheath. I was impressed with how easily and smoothly it slipped out. It slipped right back in again too. I was tempted to cut off some of the sheath along with the cable itself, but for now it works as is. The build quality looks and feels solid. The included zip ties are a bonus, as I used only one. 5 stars.
