I LOVE this. It’s so small, portable, and compact. The inside is all stainless steel while the outer shell is all plastic. I tested it and I was originally worried that the outside and handle would get too hot after boiling since it’s plastic after all. I can happily report back that it does not that get that hot on the outside after boiling water! You can easily still pick it up and pour without issue. I even made sure to touch the sides and it didn’t burn! It felt warm but doesn’t burn! I’ve had others in the past where the outer shell gets so hot it burns and I hated that! This is great! So tiny and compact. My dad LOVES this. He lives with me and after a stroke his hands doesn’t have the strength it used to. This small kettle is PERFECT for his daily tea! He loves drinking tea and coffee daily. Our regular sized electric kettle is bigger and heavy once filled with water so it’s a bit harder for him to lift and pour out water for his daily tea/coffee. This one has been perfect. Also the lid is connected so you don’t have to worry about opening and forgetting where you put the lid. It’s all attached and super easy to open. Once you push the little button on the handle a little blue light on the bottom will come on indicating that it’s boiling. It’ll auto shut off once boiled. My only gripe is how short the cable is for plugging in but my dad thinks it’s perfect so I guess that’s what matters.
