There’s a rubber cap on the open end of the cord which is handy to leave on if you have to reach the equipment through some bushes like I did. Keeps the contacts clean. Well worth the extra for the brand version. Based on the knock off version reviews, probably the best cost upgrade and it will be extra $ well spent.
